Winchcombe is a Cotswold town near the disappointment of Cheltenham Spa in Gloucestershire. Its population according to the 2011 census was 4,538.  They have little staircases along the main road – just so that they can decorate them with baskets of flowers and to allow visiting dogs in bags a quick hang.
