When travelling by train and it’s not busy, Timothy gets out of his bag and sits on the seat. He sits on the seats at home, so sees no reason why he shouldn’t sit on the seats while out – but unlike at home, some people are not keen to see him on the seats. To keep them happy, Timothy travels with his own fleece blanket – and spreads that out on the seat, and sits only on the blanket.
When nearing his destination, though, he rolls up his fleece blanket, and gets back into his bag. Being in his bag makes boarding/alighting trains easier, saves jumping over the gaps, and means that escalators are no trouble. Today he had a quick look out of the window from his bag, while hanging from the luggage rack.
