Dog in a Bag

Timothy in his bag

On the lookout from Canterbury’s city wall

The Romans built Canterbury’s original city walls in about 270 AD, and finally after a wait of over 1,700 years, Timothy has visited them.  Some of the history of the walls is documented, while other details are still being discovered.

This photo is the first record we could find of a dog hanging from any wall-related structure in Canterbury.  Maybe this page will one day be cited in a museum charting Canterbury’s history.  But probably not.
