We don’t know where it goes, but this big gate leads off the towpath along the Lee Navigation.  We thought it was a canal, but it’s not… but it’s not a river either.  It is a canalised river.  Who knew that such a thing even existed?!

We’ll have to go back because further along than we walked is Old Ford Lock, where the Big Breakfast used to be filmed.
