Canal graffiti

Timothy demonstrates that using his butcher’s S hook means his bag doesn’t have to touch the metal of the fence.  Not having to lift him so high is a big plus when there’s a huge bed of stinging nettles that require full concentration below.

This fence runs beside a north London canal towpath – the area had been made quite nice by either the local council or Canal & Riverside Trust, with big metal discs depicting locally-significant areas and industries of interest mounted every few hundred yards.  Naughtily, someone had sprayed graffiti over most of them – so we don’t know what this one actually is.
