Dog in a Bag

Timothy in his bag

Overseeing Liverpool Street Station on New Year’s Day

After watching the London New Year’s Day Parade just off Trafalgar Square for nearly 3 hours – two of them in heavy rain – Timothy made a retreat for home via the first bus which came by.  It took us to Liverpool Street, from where we could take a train home.

Being the wise, well travelled, and well prepared dog, Timothy went with his bag, his duffle coat, his fleece blanket, and instructed the staff to hold an umbrella during the parade.  He got wet only while crossing Trafalgar Square and Strand to get to the (closed) Charing Cross station, and then back to the bus stops.
